Membership

Membership in the National Audubon Society includes a free membership in your local chapter. If you live in Tioga or Potter County, your local chapter is the Tiadaghton Audubon Society. Most of your annual dues go to the NAS and only a small portion goes to your local chapter. Therefore, when it's time to renew your annual membership in the Audubon Society, please use the linked form and send your check directly to the Tiadaghton Audubon Society. This way far more of your membership dollars go to the local chapter. In addition to the quarterly newsletter, the Raven, our chapter pays for the distribution of "Audubon Adventures" magazine to local school, as well as hosting a series of speakers and conducting local birding walks. You will continue to receive all national Audubon benefits, including Audubon Magazine. Membership benefits in your local chapter includes include:

• a stronger voice on local environmental issues;
• opportunities to sponsor or participate in local wildlife research projects and protection;
• nature outings and other events sponsored by your local chapter.
